We collected sticks from alongside the river.
We used these stick a relational elements, as objects, as paintbrushes.
Groups created stick dances, finding ways to balance and stay in relation to each other and the stick between them. The stick activated the space between individuals. It was a kind of practice of getting to know another person without talking, an embodied, touching, moving practice. Throughout the evening different participants created stick dances.
Others created stick sculptures. The sticks were propostions that ingathered multiple practices.
